I love cables. I love lots of cables. That's the real bonus - being covered in long hard plastic tubes that get tangled up.
I would had wireless charging as well as wireless headphones. Doesn't that sound terrible in comparison.

Check HTC phones circa 2009-2010 and the 2008 to early 2009 Apple MacBook Pro. Imagine that MacBook Pro had a button to remove it from the bottom and Steve Jobs was still alive.
Don't be a slave to these companies' "courageous" decisions and be limited to a non-removable battery's life expectancy. Eventually ALL batteries die and need to be replaced. We won't notice it until 18-24 months later. Doesn't seem Samsung will learn their lesson and the S8 will be thin and non-removable when they could've saved billions of dollars with the Note7 recall keeping it removable like their 2014 phones without needing to replace the entire phone.
To add insult, Samsung will remove the headphone jack too. No thanks. Will stick to Nokia or LG although the latter looks to go non-removable with the G6. Samsung has went downhill on practicality since 2015 just to be an Apple fashionista copycat. Have hated what Samsung has done to their phones the same way Apple has ruined their MacBook line and iPhone 7 with donglegate. Planned obsolescence wins.

Meaning, if it was removable, this wouldn't happen. Of course, it doesn't matter - manufacturers are insane and never fix their misstakes, on the contrary - they always say "f**k you", making things even worse (Like, keeping the battery non-removable and removing the 3.5mm jack as a "bonus". Oh, and rising the price).

Yes you are right anything that has a lithium battery is prone to exploding not just Samsung phones cause EVERY manufacture encounters this, phones, laptops, AAA batteries ANYTHING it's what happens when you use an unstable element yet we have started to rely more and more on this rare material.

battery problem? why not admit the design flaw and haste in releasing the unit, if its a battery problem, then that problem is not limited to the note 7, it could be also a problem on other units since most of the battery the note 7 was made is the same factory other samsung units batteries are made

Although I highly doubt that this was the issue since samsung did recall the phones,replace batteries and send them back and they were still exploding.

The battery still explode regardless removable or not. Even if you removed it before it explode then what? You gonna wait till Samsung issue a new battery which could take months? The problem with original battery is the body is too small for the battery. Changing battery size to smaller capacity? That wont work either. How are you supposed to insert a completely different size battery onto the slot even if the battery is removable? In the end, recall is the answer. Discontinuing is the best move.
Using removable battery in the next S8? How would you ensure the design wouldnt get uglier than the glass sandwich design of S7? Removable battery is only possible using plastic. Name me one extremely beautiful plastic phone with removable battery out there. Yeah, you cant. You learnt nothing!

Not surprised. frankly. if it WAS the battery. slap in a slightly smaller battery (3450 mAh instead of 3500) to let the device work as it's supposed to work.
just waiting for the note 8 (Considering it has a 3.5mm jack.)
