No phone other than the P9 even appears on the uswitch price comparison site for example. Even the Nexus 6P is gone now. Also as a result of the Mate 9 coming to the UK too late I doubt it will sell well now. Yes the P9 is available which is why I mentioned it. By contrast the Mate 8 was not sold by any network or network reseller at all. By contrast you ask your average iphone or Samsung user about Huawei and they will most likely not have even heard of them. By comparison there are dozens, if not 100's of deals for virtually all the Samsung, Apple and HTC phones and they are well known brands. That is hardly a marketing triumph for Huawei in the UK.

I mean look at Xiaomi, OnePlus, killer specs yet cheaper than this phone. The only thing I can say Huawei is good at is at camera department. I'll take OnePlus 3T any day over this.

          Sold my Z Force
V20 or Mate 9 as my next device guys ? V20 is cheaper in the US better value for money than mate 9

Carphone warehouse has the P9 along with like 5 other Huawei phones in stock. Carriers like Vodafone also have the Huawei P9 and the new Mate 9 is available at Three.

Across Europe its also the same kind of plan, but maybe a little less in some areas but overall their marketing is pretty good.

How many different Mate 9 devices is that now being released within 3 months of eachother?? Im counting 4 LOL

Samsung do S7 and S7 Edge then comes the active version.

Apple do the same they release Iphone 7 and 7 Plus then a few months later the Iphone 7S Plus will come out as usual. At this rate there be a good 6 or 7 Mate 9 Versions :D

AnonD-510098, 16 Jan 2017Huawei are well known across the world, they are the 3rd bi... moreI can't speak for outside the UK but here in the UK they have far less market visibility than the likes of Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC etc. That is beginning to change with the Nexus 6P and P9 etc but the Mate phones generate far less interest than other brands such as say the Samsung S7, the Sony Xperia phones and the iPhones. I suspect that is also true across Europe as a whole. Furthermore the Mate phones get little support ftom the networks here, where as the others mentioned are widely available on all of them. They are thus not well perceived here generally. That is not to say they are bad phones but like it or not people tend to opt for what they know and the other brand names are more familiar and generally available hence they sell better.

High ram phones are the performance champs of Android due to how Android is using the extra ram (to boost general performance). Look what happens to phones with differing amounts of ram / ram management despite running the same/similar SoC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otwED6s3rCQ

Ram is the most important thing as far as every day performance goes. Wake up!
