So we can compare real-life performances X30 vs S835.
If Xiaomi put eMMC5.1, comparison will be unfair

GPU throttles on some devices that's true, but not all (for exemple Vernee Apollo Lite doesn't)
But GPU throttles to on 805,808,810 and 820 if QHD from Qualcomm

MediaTek SoC which has Tri-Cluster stop their Max core when the cpu temperature is 30℃ .
It means in these case the Max core won't work
・if you carry your phone on your pants pocket
・if your hand is hot and you are grasping the phone more than 5minutes
・if it's summer.

I think both chipset is great, hope xiaomi will more focus on design, camera, waterproof, and battery life and etc. That what most of costumer wanted.

On S835 Qualcomm comes closer with A73 core and use something close to Arm's big.LITTLE
Mediatek has his own core management with Corepilot 3.0
For exemple octocore A53 on Snapdragon 625 is about 3000pts on Geekbench, on Helio P20 it's about 3800!!!!
