good thing abt this phone? yes- metal casing. thats all.
Just take a look at samsung D900. its slimmer, 3.2 megapixels and all other features like document viewers,living world screen,etc. are better than this phone. And its available NOW. By the time this LG come out, nokia already out their 5mega phs.. pitty LG.

actually samsung DOES copy,they have NEVER bring something by themself to the market, THEY COPY what other manufactures, like thin phones, music phones, and TRY to make it look better. in features... well everybody always copy nokia, the 6230 its in ALL the best seller in the market today, feature wise.

Very nice phone, i think that this jewell compete with samsung sliders and nokias 8800 series, i think that it beat both nokias and samsung phones!! i talk about design, the preliminary information talk about the tech inside, that is better than 8800, at least in screen and camera (8800 se camera is bad.
I hope that this phone isnt expensive

the phone looks good, infact very good, that is from the outside. the keypad might give some problems. Expandable memory, 2 mp camera are good but what is the size of the internal phone memory?

Nice move my LG. There are poeple who always complain that Samsung are made of platic and looks cheap. Well thats what makes it light.LG and samsung are acrh rivals and always looking out for whats missing in others. I was actually expecting Samsung to made a all metal slider infact. But LG did..looking good.
Not feeling like responding to CHI..it just shows his/her lack of knowledge. forget about 5mp..Samsung already have 10mp cam phone in korea.

i don like this phone because it whole body are stainless steel. i prefer the whole plastic, it will be more lasting,and the keypad is realy awful.

LG's and Sumsangs are basically the same phones, i wouldn't be surprised if sumsang get the same phone out in the next month.

You think D900 is the flagship phone for Samsung? You are grossly mistaken. Phones with similar specs to D900 have been released in Korea years, years ago. Mainly, D900 is made in plastic because that's what the market wants. If you are not willing to spend top dollars for a phone, plastic is what you get. There are literally over 100 distinctive Samsung models, all designed to cater different needs. Don't go look at a phone targetted for mid-range income market such as a D900 and complain about it, because that's what you'll get. That is exactly analogous to saying "I paid $2.99 for an extra large pizza, why are there only 3 toppings on it?" Just like diamonds, if you want average quality diamonds you will pay an average price. Go look at a top model Samsung phone and see what it won't do, besides cook dinner for you. And please do not tell me that I am biased towards Samsung because from your apparent post, so are you. "the phone suxxx it only has 2megapixel cam on it!!!" so go get yourself a professional camera then, if a camera is what you need. "oh my god my volkswagon does not come with a refrigerator in the trunk." See how stupid the previous statements sound??

this phone looks far better than the d900, d900 is cheap and plasticy looking and to hold aswell, one of the worst samsungs of recent, apart from the cam its not a good phone
