This looks like the same rehashed garbage id rather get a D900, or an N95 far superior than this in all aspects.

Ha have you heard yourselves! All bickering over which phones better, sounds like 'my dads bigger than your dad'!!! Each to there own, why take it personal?
All brands copy from one another, if something works for one then its going to work for another, thats what competition is about, taking something that works for someone else and improving it to give yours the edge.
Fair enought this phone may not have the best features but its competing with models like the 8800. This phone is designed to look good, not to have PDA features or the best camera. 2MP is awesome quality, if you want a better quality camera, buy a camera!!!
Personally i think this phone looks good and has decent enough features for this to appeal to many people

@LousyG LG K920 already officially available in market..so stop saying that N95 is the first 5MP phone be4 LG..ok..

The LG Shine looks like a wicked piece of kit - and once more, some people just can't handle the fact that a global player like LG is picking up the best points of other players handsets (plus innovating at the same time) and making LG's a whole load better. Who cares if some of the designs are similar to others? If it looks good, (as it does), i may well buy it in the new year!

Lg as been copying Samsung handsets for ages an now realize they can not keep up with them,so now Lg is changing to copy Motorola as the roker slide phone will be released soon by Motorola so Lg never seem bring a mobile that gives Lg a good name to brag about ,LG grow up an stop copying ever other companies mobiles an stay in the Korean market please

looks good this one..someone here says other brands copy nokia....remember that nokia has never introduced a technology in mobile phones it has used from others...but nokia did introduce some techs in network instruments(mobile phone)....nokia copied camera from sharp or from kyocera..MP3,extendable memory,hot swap,java,slide mechanism,color display,"GPS system in mobiles" from siemens,bluetooth from ericsson,symbian S60 base from psion...last of all motorola made the first mobile in 1983.

this topic become a fighting topic again.. I should add in another fact that Ericsson produce the FIRST slim phone with T28. and Ericsson came out the first color screen gsm phone T68. Nokia is only famous for easy interface and built in antena. Samsung is copycat, but they copy and make things better. So , i love samsung phs and using D900. :) and LG is on their way to compete with big brands.

no matter who copy who, don make me laugh with Nokia first making 5MP phone or wat, so u mean if other vendors produces 5MP, they supposed to called as copy cats..??? siemens is the first vendor who produced MP3 players phone SL45, nowadays almost every phone supported MP3 player feature too, do u want to call them all as copy cats too? use ur brain... it is not a monopoly

I am comparing this ph with samsung, not nokia, I use nokia is just to give example. i knoe samsung and LG produce high megapixel phs but they r not available worldwide. So, probably N95 is the first 5mega ph going to hit the worldwide GSM market .

Who cares who came out with it first long as it's an awesome and stylish phone like this one looks like! Any prices yet? Long as the phone works excellent I don't care who made who first. lol The phone looks very high class I might say! :)

You dont know anything about phones!! anything!!
If you do some research you know these facts, not your facts; the real facts:
1st phone with memory card support was the siemens SL45, comes with a mp3 player, headset and MMC card slot, even P800 was older than 6230 and it was the first symbian smartphone with memory card slot.
7650 was the first phone with integrated camera, but ericsson offers attacheable cameras to their phones since T39 ages.
Ericsson makes phones with bluetooth since R520m and T39, while nokia was make ugly phones like 3330, it means nothing!!!
EDGE!!, who cares about EDGE!! in my country exists UMTS, and recently HSPDA takes the position.
Yes, 6230 is a great phone but it isnt original in any side, is a copy from others like ericsson and siemens.
These are the facts! not the nokia facts

yes i did research, everybody copy nokia features look at the k750. d500. etc nokia 6230 was the first phone with mmc card, mp3 player edge all in one package, from then on all the other manufacturers follow, also nokia was the first to release a camera intregated phone; and built in antennas. yes i know my facts. thank you.

LousyG, dont tell me that u don know about LG K-920
it has 5 mp before NOkia's 5Mp fone released..for camera quality .Asian phones is a step ahead..No Doubt..so..Nokia supposed to be the pitty one..
