Anyway, If N900 users are interested in Android, it means that this Android has some qualities isn't it? I never saw anyone wanting to put Symbian on his Android phone, btw.
Also it means that N900 users do not have all their wishes fulfilled by Maemo, otherwise why installing Android?

Android 2.3.1 'Gingerbread' on Nokia N900

Adroid has now become like a football,1min u decide let me see what's all the fuss, next minute u already playin something some1 claims it's awesome & just notice how Google made money with their over-the-night OS,ha ha ha

Thanks 2 Nokia's n900,it saved me from that booby tray by Google.

[deleted post]Hey just cut yo long story short:

go search 'smooth Gingerbread on n900' on Youtube and tell me what u see.

By-the-way how many Adroid phones have Gingerbread?

I even compared Gingerbread on my n900 with another Adroid on Samsung galaxy S,guess what! The owner says he's now waiting 4 the MeeGo phone.

                  [deleted post]About the 2
Nitdroid is on 2.3 gingerbread now.

Also i like to say as n900 user, that android is worse than maemo so the only purpose we put other oS is just for testing our N900 hardware and not replace the true linux OS it has. The only OS could replace maemo is a dual boot with meego. Anything else its just bubblegum .

The link you gave about meego and Android talks about an unknowh tab called wepad running meego and which promisses to run Android apps in the FUTURE. If you look on wikipedia to the wepad page you get the explanation how. Wepad will have DUAL BOOT, meego AND Android.
So in the end, Meego wll not run Android apps, Android will:).

It's true that Android has a java vm inside. So what google is doing? Fooling people around and not putting java apps support? It's ridiculous. That's why symbians' always on top. Go nokia!!

So u think Google cant do anything, and they will allow other platforms to run their apps ?? LOL....And u think google wont be able to differentiate between phones that natively run android and those on emulator ??

"Meego will be a serious contender and nobody with any logic can deny that"

Well The OS market is way too saturated for Meego..... Isnt that a good logic??? Its just not my view but also of top analysts.

"Meego already has tons of apps if it's the full Linux experience"

Well I have used Linux in PC and there was no special "Linux experience" and it still is no where near Windows right ???
And can u show me the tons of Meego apps ??
                                        Tons = thousands
