I'm afraid it's not a dual camera setup, its fingerprint scaner next to the camera lens. We have already seen it on previous renders and leaks... Just think how crazy samsung must be to place it there

So they're concentrating on useless crap this year. Instead of improving what really needs to be improved (battery life). WTH needs yet another "digital assistant" that nobody will ever use? Mostly because these goddamn things only work in English or in this case Korean. Then there's the ridiculousness of talking in public to your phone.
Samsung stop concentrating on what YOU think we need. But ASK us what we want goddammit!
I'll start.
- I want userreplacebable batteries
- I want microSD-card slot (preferably under the removable backcover which is cleaner than a tray and less susceptible to dust)
- I want that IR-blaster back that you, morons, removed on S7!
- I want the choice of FHD (more FPS) or QHD (for filthy rich bitches) variants.
- Buttons, buttons, buttons!!!! A call and hangup button (if only because a lot of NORMAL ppl have serious issues with "swiping" to take a call!)
- OIS always!
- stop putting ridiculous high-MP front-camera's in phones. They're only good for ego-trippers and narcissists.
- make the phones a bit thicker to get that camera FLUSH! So that the glass don't get cracked when you put it on a table, idiots!
- NO GLASS back! It's WAY too fragile! Didn't you morons learned from the iphone 4?

So while the looks and the friends scheme was a bust, LG G5 did a lot of things better than others... Still a good phone to buy (unlike many of the rest of the 2016 bunch).

And 1080p is what is... moreNo they can't. During VR screen is cut in half, so the best resoluton they can support is 720p ... which looks pretty bad in VR.
A QHD screen basically gets cut in two 1280x1440 screens ... so the best video you can fit is 1280x720 (720p) ... so can't be done. One of the basic reasons why Netflix VR is still not a thing (very low resolution, especially when the phone is kept so close).
