[deleted post]To be honest, they bash more than Nokia. They are usually very fair.

More than three months people have been waiting for an update, and this is all Nokia offer? Nokia owners always pay a high price for brand loyalty.

[deleted post]So come on. Give me a good use for Flash in a web browser, that Java alone cannot emulate?

All these Apple haters harp on about how amazing Flash is, but offer no reason to do so. All I see on the internet are games, most of which, aren't even as good as the FREE games offered at the App Store.

Could you PLEASE be positive for one time, gsmarena? I'm very pleased that Nokia at least provides updates for my phone. Much better than Samsung, who did'nt provide updates for my Omnia. Or Google/SE, who messed up the software of my wife's X10 with the last update.

I think that the N8 is one of the most well balanced phones atm. I'm very happy with mine.

I'll stick with my Safari browser I think. No Flash.

Who actually thinks Flash is useful nowadays anyway? Those that promote it on their phones are likely only using it for Flash video pornography!

AnonD-411, 04 Feb 2011Why doesn't Nokia use Android?1. They don't have to - Adroid doesn't offer anything more than Symbian.
                                        2. They don't wan't to be depended on another company. If Google decides to charge for future Adroids what will Moto, SE, LG will do? They don't have an alternative. If Google decides to pull the plug, they are doomed. Why would Nokia want, Google to have them by the balls?
                                        3. They don't wan't to get the fragmentation that Google's updates create. Cause if you don't update you don't get the new stuff. You update when Google wants to, of course.
                                        4. They can lead the experience anywhere they want, with their own platform. They are free to be creative and innovative, not depending by what someone else has decided. This way they can differentiate themselfs from everybody else, which is the ONLY way to stand out.
                                        5. Keeping both Adroid and Symbian would be a disaster for the resources of their RD department.

Nokia has made the right decision for it's future. Others, less resourcefull companies couldn't do the same...
