For that price it better have AMOLED.

I have not yet read of a tablet that is made from sd835 soc with 8gb ram and 64gb or higher rom, 9 inches or more screen FHD or QHD in 16:9 format. Seriously, I am disappointed with Asus in terms of wifi router, Zenfone 2 laser and here the tablet it is making. So, I think I stay away from Asus for my next phone and pc motherboard diy.

But even so, it's not suitable for a tablet and there are far more powerful processors out there that you would expect to find in a tablet that costs this much.

DrearyDepp, 24 Jan 2017Oh look, another underpowered tablet for android. SD 650? S... morePower isn't the problem. It's the price. At $250 this wouldn't be a bad deal. At $400+ it's laughable. Samsung just announced the Tab S3 with a 2-year-old chipset. That's bound to start at $399 for the 8" model and $499 for the 10". I honestly don't know what these companies are hoping to accomplish with this price/performance scheme. That people are so dumb they won't notice that their $200 phone is as powerful as their $400 tablet, maybe?

Meanwhile, Apple's newest and most powerful chipsets always launch in their new iPads.
I've never been a fan of Apple, and I've only ever owned one Apple product (an awful-performing and terribly overpriced Powerbook G4). I hate giving them credit because I still don't like the company in general, but at least Apple knows what a tablet is supposed to be and gives you fair value for the $$.

Oh look, another underpowered tablet for android. SD 650? Seriously? I know its a powerful chipset (it has proved quite capable in my Redmi Note 3), but it's DEFINITELY NOT a chipset that would prove powerful inside a tablet. Furthermore, the chipset itself is built on an old, not so power-efficient process and had below average multi-core performance because of only 6 cores. It's like OEMs aren't even trying to make good, powerful tablets anymore, and that is very sad.
