So iPhone 8s will have 7nm and iPhone 8 will have 10nm it looks like.

Tell that to them. I dare you to tell LBNL 5nm is the smallest transistor scale and couldnt get any smaller.

How come samsung doesn't see server processor market opportunity? Those cloud services keeps hungry of server processors. Just buy AMD

So in 2025, what will be the size? 1 nm?

If this chip is very low consumption than previous it will improve battery life capacity

Well there are great technologies for batteries but still too expensive, 7nm processors will have more energy efficiency so not all is bad
Qualcomm quick charge 4.0 its a great deal you can charge your battery 50% in 15min

does not matter how power efficient chips are it is still screen and 3g that take the biggest amount of battery.

Instead of putting efforts in making 7nm chips why not put some efforts towards new technology to increasing battery capacity.

World is happy to live with 14nm and 10nm chips for few years, but everyone wants better battery
