Julliard, 26 Jan 2017Oh yeah, I heard about that like since 2014! Chinese phone ... moreActually lot happened already, Huawei become number one phone company in my country and in few other countries too, note to you, Samsung has been number one by very big margin for years where i live, and last year Huawei crushed Samsung in just one year.

Samsung is going to have very difficult times, huawei and other chinese companies can basicly offer same product for masses a lot cheaper, it really start to show.

It's also shows in these Samsung q results, Samsung sold whopping 90 million phones and yet their profit from mobile segment is only 2.5 billion. 2014 january it was 5.3 billion. Shows how much the flagship sales have dropped. and the reason is exactly what i just said. Huawei and other chinese companies are getting many potential galaxy sales these days.

Not surprised. Many people bought the J series since they sell like cupcakes in India,China,Europe. And don't forget so many people buy them so they can easily sell them.I mean basically in cheap markets you can only buy iphones and samsungs ones.Nobody sells old used Xiaomi or Asus or Huawei phones.
Plus 30% of this amount goes to S series. They are literally owned by anyone with a bit bigger budget.

It's been like this for the past 5 years, as we all know Samsung also relies on selling low end phones. So next year, chances are Samsung will also be at the top.

Sure, Samsung is doing fine, but many other companies are on the rise. Huawei's sales are growing crazy worldwide, and not to mention the return of Nokia, which might take some of Samsung's and Huawei's sales, as well. 2017 is going to be interesting.

In my country people just buy Samsung, people aren't aware of quality or things like that (I don't say Samsung doesn't have quality but vice versa) so just a very small percent are professional and aware of the product they buy, that's why Samsung salea won't fall soon and that's why Chinese low quality phones are rising.

In terms of reliability, brand value, after sales, customer support, availability, etc, one plus is no match for oems like apple. And the consumer pays for all of that, not just the smartphone. You have to understand how economics and consumerism work.

iPhone 7 Sold much much more than OnePlus 3T yet I genuinely believe the OP3T is the better phone.

It's all about who entered the smartphone game first and therefore gained brand recognition and also marketing that mostly determines sales.

Well, all the haters had gone quiet. Anyone else had sold 90 million smartphones other than Samsung? I guess not.
