Super slim bezels, but sealed battery, not modular but waterproof.

always liked LG's phones due to it's reasonable "practical" designs .... their phones never the thinnest but bezels were always reasonably smaller .... removable batteries are a plus too ... my brothers LG G3 is now still operating well due to the fact the battery has been replaced while my LG G FLEX2 is "waiting" for a battery replacement as it's harder to find because it's internal non removable battery.

AnonD-636307, 31 Jan 2017It will most likely bootloop and die like other flagship LG... moreNo boot loops on my G5 :)

Snapdragon 821 anyone? XD Everyone is talking about this being a beast when again they won't even have the top spec Snappy SoC. Poor LG don't have what it takes to take on Samsung. If only they knew the power of Samsung.

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2017LG will comeback... well done LG absolutely waiting for thi... moreHaha in your dreams. Trying to imitate Samsung will only harm her. I mean what's the point. If I want a bezeless phone I will buy it from someone with prime quality.

LG should had tried to differentiate their product. The copycat game works only your quality is known (Samsung/Apple) or when you simply don't have enough money and want to save money from designING stuff and want to sell it dirt cheap (knock offs), none of which works for LG.

          ...what a terrible decision.

My last 3 phones were lg. I just think its sad that the chinese phone companies are bringing out better phones. That one last bastion of hope was the removable battery. Only lg was doing it for flagships. Well thats gone. If the stylus 3 was 1080p with 32 gb. I would have bought that.

I've had one since October wi... moreI've upgraded from moto G4 to LG G5 and I too don't see why people hate the phone? Only thing I hate was i could see some lightbleed on 2 corners when watching videos or looking at pics in the gallery. I was annoyed by the no app drawer default (I hated making folders when I was an iSheep) but now I'm Fandroid so I use Nova as launcher. Actually this may be only me but a lot of women who checked out my phone said 3 things consistently. 1) they love all the cameras esp the wide angle and selfie 'flash' ( I don't think they knew about selfie flash apps on iPhone?) 2) they think the back of the phone is cute b/c it looks like a shocked robot face,3) they prefer iPhone b/c its smaller and less complicated to use. For me personally, there is nothing like having to run out the door and realize that I have 20% left on my phone, and instead of grabbing a charger and cursing myself, I grab my spare battery and feel relief.

Julliard, 30 Jan 2017Here another complainer. "Oh, I would have buy it if it... moreTo be fair longevity is only one of the great things that removable battery offers.

Another is instant charge (popping a spare), and another yet capacity to double the battery life by carrying a spare. Maybe some people only care for the last two and not the longevity parameter (just saying).

I mean it's hard to go from a phone that charges in one minute to one that charges in 1+ hour, especially if you got accustomed to the 1 min ute "charge time" and have shaped your daily routine around it (i.E. never having to worry about phone battery)

AnonD-568493, 29 Jan 20172016 was a year full of disappointment in phones. The LG G5... moreMeh. Phone looks decent enough, charges fully from almost dead in just over an hour, won best camera on this site, and outperforms pretty much every sd820/821 phone in all the youtube videos I've watched before buying one (147000+ on Antutu after my Nougat update). I'll take decent looks and best performance over best looking and slower performance any day (also had had a stable Nougat update for quite a while now, unlike almost every other phone that has had issues and delays)

Also, only an idjit doesn't put a case on their phone so looks don't really matter much after that :D
