Now that LG jumps into the water resistant bandwagon plus more than LG G2 can offer, then LG G6 is the biggest hit in 2017...mark my word...

at least they have a good excuse to ditch the removable battery, it being waterproof. cant say the same about sony's new lineup (excluding the xz and x performance)

Good for LG. The G5 was interesting, but is obsolete when Moto released the Moto Z. The modular concept done by Moto is just superior than what LG came up.

So yeah, it's wise for LG to quickly move on to features that people expect on flagships, like waterproofing.

LG is only getting less and less popular in the mobile segment, as people realize it's an awful smartphone manufacturer which doesn't even bother taking care of the problems. Most of their phones were big flops, except from the G2. The G3, G4, G5, V10, V20 were ''meh'' and each phone had its problems, and now the LG G6. I wonder what kind of problems will it have. Perhaps overpricing? Maybe bootlooping? How about both? Don't buy LG. You'd rather go for Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Oppo and OnePlus.

Wait, we have a Vote Pool based on a rumored device? Even one step beyond, we have a versus with a released one? In what scenario will the G5 not lose?

The history of LG devices in the last years is not good. Motherboard issues, Boot-loop Issues.
I like the slim and waterproof design but i won't buy one because i know that 14 months from release the device's motherboard will die and it will have boot-loop issues just as the LG G3, LG G4 ext.
I might buy one when the device will be under 300$ (next year or two)

Because if they give you 3500 mah removable, competitors will have 4500mah non. So you'll still not satisfied and and will say battery not big enough. U can fit a bigger battery if it's sealed.

Isnt the purpose of buying a phone with removable battery is that so you can keep the phone for many many years without buying new ones? Like say, you bought a smartphone with removable battery in 2013 and already planning to use it for 7 years by buying new batteries every few years and will not buy a new phone. Then, why you come here looking for a new smartphone??? Why??? I dont understand these people complaining so much.

The battery life is great for 3000mah, which can last for more than a day. Much better than the Samsung with same amount of mah. The G4 battery may swell after a year or so, but a new battery will make everything like new again.
