Apple really doesn't give a shit about consumers convenience. As compared to other wireless earphones out there is so much trouble to use these airpods if you do not want to lose them. I am also using two wireless earphones which are so much convenient. Just charge them with USB cable which I can find out anywhere and you are good to go. No bullshitt. Airpods pricing is not the issue rather convenience is.
I hope in next version of airpods apple will correct some shortcomings...

I rather buy some duck tape for £3 and cut it out precisely, put it on my AirPods and be happy with it, but whatever...
