Nokia’s first MeeGo device, N9, dropped before it's even official?

10 February, 2011
The rumored Nokia N9 may never get to see public light, says Reuters based on industry sources. Nokia refuses to comment the matter so this still isn't official. The Finns are all over the headlines these days...

Ludwik, 12 Feb 2011Why not a triple sim. And triple boot device. Symbian/... moreor maybe just put wp7 ui on symbian..
seriously they have to try to change symbian ui radically before they give up on it. and never ever screw up again with resistive screen, thick body, and fixedfocus camera.

Seriously though, a Nokia with this (urgh)WP7 that would be sold with Symbian dual boot wouldn't be so bad. I could use my multi-tasking king Symbian while others could use that WP7. Making those expensive peices of hardware worth their money

            I'm not asking a question this time;

I've used nokia 5530 and i don't think there will be a difference even if I used the C7 because of slow processor and bad OS. MeeGo or WP7 will NOT help nokia if they didn't make a good processor phones (1GHz at least).

yeah right, I'm jealous because Nokia are crying out to Microsoft for help....... also because Nokia's primary OS is going to have the following limitation:

                                        No system-wide file manager
                                        No videocalling
                                        Limited third-party apps availability
                                        No Bluetooth file transfers
                                        No USB mass storage mode
                                        No multitasking
                                        No copy/paste
Too dependent on Zune software for computer file management and syncing
                                        No music player equalisers
No Flash or Silverlight support in the web browser
No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far
                                        No DivX/XviD video support
                                        No internet tethering support
New ringtones available only through the Marketplace
Swapping memory card requires hard reset; cards not readable by computer
