Nokia’s first MeeGo device, N9, dropped before it's even official?

The rumored Nokia N9 may never get to see public light, says Reuters based on industry sources. Nokia refuses to comment the matter so this still isn't official. The Finns are all over the headlines these days...

            Today Mr.Elop has 2 convince investors about his strategy,hopefully it having only Symbian^3/4 & Meego with Qt integrating both platforms,this will build a strong ecosystem & note that nokia customers worldwide want only Symbian & Meego(with the exception of North America).Many big players like BMW have already joined the Meego platform.He has 2 play his cards well and mention release products close 2 announcement & providing SW/FW updates.Since the ultimate power of controlling Nokia lies with the investors,if they're not conviced & think otherwise WP7/Adroid is better,Elop may have 2 go along with that or else investors will call 4 an EGM 2 vote him out.Today it's all just politics at Nokia.

                    I am nokia user since 2000,
                    the smart phones made by nokia are good, But in the touch mobiles phones, Nokia disappointed the users,
                    all touch mobiles when ever launched in the market, having problems
                    Hanging, camera's issues, speaker’s sound problems, Design etc.
                    We waited for the Firmware update to solve these issues.
                    While Samsung is doing well against the nokia in touch phones market.
                    Nokia please you are not child in the market improve your OS like Android, Apple,
                    Or do adopt Android.

                          Nokia and Microsoft enter strategic alliance on Windows Phone, Bing, Xbox Live and Office


                          It's happened. Former Microsoft exec and current Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has married his future and his past in the holy matrimony of a "strategic alliance." Windows Phone 7 is becoming Nokia's "principal smartphone strategy," but there's a lot more to this hookup -- scope out the official press release just after the break. Microsoft's Bing and adCenter will provide search and ad services across Nokia devices, while Nokia will look to innovate "on top of the platform" with things like its traditional strength in imaging. Nokia Maps will be a core part of Microsoft's mapping services and will be integrated with Bing, while Nokia's content store will be integrated into (read: assimilated by) Microsoft's Marketplace.

                              Nokia could always bring out a Android phone which includes Symbian as an android application.

                              So die hard symbian fans can still have symbian. And others have android.

                                    TABLET PHONE IS WAY 100K TIMES BETTER THAN SMARTPHONE..JUST LIKE NOKIA N900...IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT WITH SMARTPHONES THEN GO FOR TABLETS...
                                    go for windows 7 for your business phones, go for meego for you high-end tablet phones stick with symbian for music tablet phones...
                                    make laptops internet tablet with symbian and meego...cannot imagine how it could be when a laptop,pc,tablet runs with symbian..we are like using a smarphone with it...NOKIA should remain its crown and should have originality...DO NOT adopt android bcoz if so, we are just like buying samsung,LG,HTC,SE,etc in only different hardware...PLEASE advertise your product with INTEL...it sounds looks enticing..come to think of it!

                                      Anonymous, 11 Feb 2011hope many investor will runaway from nokia if use wp / android. Sorry fanboy. The burning platform memo leaked out late Tuesday and Nokia's stocks went up the next day. The investors liked the memo.
