ROFL ROFL... "windows will now restart to continue update" (that it was doing in the background) phone starts ringging, you have just enough time to see it is an important call, and then phone restarts... :) :)

goodbye nokia, they were falling masively behind with symbian but had the loyal fans now they jumped to an even more unpopular system, fail........bad things for nokia from here on. The n8 with android onboard would have been a big seller for instance

Now, hold on for one moment...This isn't entirely bad, and I've been a long time Symbian user... The simple fact is that there are way too many mobile OSs on the market (there are more than desktop OSs as far as I know) and Symbian does come with certain disadvantage. The bad parts are the facts that as far as I know, WP7 is a resource hog, but, honestly, the latest version of Symbian isn't much better. I'm still impressed with the computing power of older devices like the N70 compared to...say...the 5800...they're almost the same speed wise, although the 5800 is twice everything compared to the N70. The second issue is the fact that WP7 isn't a free OS and this might increase the price of devices (if you're going to skip on your own self-developed OS, why not go with the free and very successful Android).
The main point is that Nokia builds some of the best phones as far as construction quality goes (this is just my experience, feel free to see things differently) and I find Symbian to be enough for my needs.
Sure would like to see how all this will play out...

i am an android user and ive always wanted to buy a windows phone just to feel the experience. but i did not like the hd7. so once nokia starts shipping these phones i will surely buy one. i hope its got e7 form factor and screen, tegra2 chip, n8 camera and wp7 without limitations of multitasking and usb otg. it will be the best phone.

None of you know what you're talking about. How many of you work in the corporate world, or have a business degree? This was the wrong move for Nokia? I guess you guys that spend ungodly amounts of time trolling around on cellphone log sites posting opinions that you try to pass off as "intelligent, informed" analysis..know more than a company full of guys with MBA's and/or that have a crap load of ACTUAL experience, that earn millions every year. Give me a break.....and sit down in your cubicle, turn off internet poker and focus on whatever job you have and stop pretending like you know anything about running million/billion dollar company's when you received your degree in communications or anthropology....
