11 February, 2011
Nokia and Microsoft just dropped a bomb - the two leading companies will be joining forces for an extensive collaboration. Windows Phone 7 becomes the primary smartphone OS for Nokia, but Symbian...

    Nokia isnt dead.

    Symbian is dead.

I dont care about Nokia, but Symbian was great.

This deal will bring a lot of profit to MS, not sure about Nokia though.

I dont like Android, but i think i wont have much of choice if my other options are ios and wp7.

:( it's a pity. MS has abandoned all the good stuff in WM6.5 and went for a WP7, which is pretty much embarrassing. For them getting Nokia on board is a huge success. I think they'll even do the most of the work on adapting the WP7 for Nokia HW...

Nokia phones have some of the most advanced features, so why should they go on with this dumb wp7 that cant even copy paste, has no support for memory cards. n8 even has usb on the go. wp7 will waste all such features. Anyways why is Microsoft getting such a huge advantage? and why are all the nokia's strengths being ignored?

Now HTC will face so real competition in P.D.A. This is great news, although I simply disliked the entire Windows phone 7 thing, but teaming with Nokia, M$ is bound to sell lots of unit, more sales, more RnD by M$ to make that perfect O.S, and pretty soon I think I will also get a Nokia Phone 7! Nokia is making it's highest sales in India and China!

As an N900 user im not too happy with this new. ive used the meego OS on my n900 and i was hoping it would be Nokia's top end solution so they could put alot of effort in....

                            not a fan of winmo7 :(

Nokia should have choose Android and had the ability to become the best Android phone manufacture...

Now going with WP7 Nokia is a co-player for MSF with a battle they just can not win against IOS and Android
