Actually these days more cores is faster than fewer ones.. think of how many apps are running at the same time. The 8 core setup is better than 2. Snap dragon has context in how a processor works and has nothing to do with a flower. It should be called slackdragon. Its performance is not impressive

Snapdragon is a kind of a flower, not an actual dragon. And it is very fragile in hot weather condition.

IMO Samsung is ahead of Qualcomm for awhile, with the 5433, 7420, and 8890 (except in the GPU space, but I don't game so... take it for what its worth). Samsung seems to be forging ahead with wider issue cores. Which may just well put it ahead of the SD835. What is known about SD835 is that it is a built on cortex, so a slightly modified A73 (or may be A72) core but with lower than reference clocks. I am not expecting a huge bump in performance compared to the Kirin960. Whether or not it is enough to pull ahead of Mongoose M2... well, we'll see in 2 months :)

I agree that the A10 Fusion is the fastest mobile processor out there right now. In 2nd place it's the Kirin 960 and in 3rd place it's gonna be the SD835.
