DaXiong, 04 Feb 2017Except SD835 or X30 aren't out there...Yep, but we already know that the SD835 is going to be incredible, and that the X30 will suck. Not to mention the Kirin 965, which might be featured in the P9 and P9 Plus.

Started hating Qualcomm's processors after the SD810. In my opinion, currently, the best mobile processors out there are SD835 and Kirin 960. They blow every other processor out there right now. Yes, even the pathetic Exynos 8890 and the Helio X30.

[deleted post]Ditto. I wouldn't be caught dead with an Apple phone, but A10s are superior to the SoCs available to the Android camp. Too bad with all that speed, you can still only speed around inside the walled garden. Pretty meaningless if you ask me. SoC maker need to focus on IPC instead of stuffing more cores on the chip.

Snapdragons are generally very good, but the SD 810 was one "dragon" that you didn't want in your phone! LOL ;p

That's tiny dragon that is not mature enough, so that maybe the reason that it's lagging and power hunger.

Should have a follow up ad in 2019 showing the poor dragon crying because it is not compatible with Android P.

And it seems this time around they mast actuality have boasting rights.
Much better improvement and integration plus samsung's node.
We have a very respectable SoC this year. But will it outdo the Exynos 8895 with a 20 core mali g71? Or Kirin's next offering? And even if they lose a little will they still hold a bit of an overall lead with everything that they have integrated in it?

Either way. A very great chip
