So, I'm going to buy a phone within a week and p... moreZ5 is a powerful phone, im using it since April last year and not even one time i regretted buying it. Only drawback buying this phone now would be its going to be completing its EoL cycle in October, 2017 and wont be getting any major update after this year. So if you dont care about major Android updates, go for it, but if you do, then buy X/XP or XZ.
The phone is currently buttery smooth on 7.0 and hopefully would be getting 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 before June.

Also, the US customer service it's just horrible. I hope I didn't pissed off to many Sony fans (I was one to but I got cured).
However, I'm surprised you putted the Z5, no longer a fashionable device.

May I suggest to take a look over ZTE Axon 7? Except the low light pictures quality, it is a remarkable device. They are making 3 versions: for US, EU and China.

So, I'm going to buy a phone within a week and pretty confused between Xperia Z5 and Huawei P9. Please tell me which is an overall better phone and also which phone will be getting android 7 earlier. I know that this is an off topic for this article but any help will be appreciated.

Even though I'm a Sony fan I don't see this very useful. It's nothing but a battery drainer..
What's wrong with having only led notifications?
Anyway, everyone who has a rooted phone can achieve this with xposed framework + modules or just by flashing a ROM which has it implemented.
Nevertheless, for the regular user it might be OK.

It's just pointless on phones that use LCD displays as it's a waste of battery. Amoled screen phones take full advantage of this feature hence they tend to have it.

So Android phones in 2017 don't have thi... moreProper Android phones like Galaxy S7/A3/A5 (2017) and LG G5 have the Always On Display, which no other phone has, including iPhone or Windows Phones. Motorola devices have a very weak form of "Active Display" which does not stay on all the time and is mostly useless. And very few Windows Phone devices have the Glance feature.
