Most people in lesser rich countries dont buy iphone because of the price of entry and hard to pirate contents. Android smartphones do not require any tech knowledge to be able to do everything. You want piracy on android? Hundreds of thousands of movies and music illegal streaming/downloading apps immediately available on play store. How about plug and play to transfer pirated contents from pc to android? Piece of cake. For ios? Forget it if you are not tech savvy, piracy and plug and play type of actions are not for you guys.

Real sg buyers are looking for good quality, never heard of any Indian based good quality products hitting international market before.

Apple will never manufacture high end device in India for sure....they would launch a mid range phone and sell it in India...
Later if they are successful they will start with other countries

From US to China to India, few years from now Apple will come to Indonesia. They know how make a profit lol. I believe in Indian hands iPhone will have more color like Indian festival, that what you iPhone fan want right? Innovation behind color and color behind status.

Most welcome news for my country, India! Hope this is able to kickstart the electronics industry here. I wish that eventually we will have a processor fab in India too. I wish Apple all success :)

Who are thinking that iphone will be cheaper they are living in the moon, only thing that iphone price will decrease a little bit

Who cares most people in India don't like iphones due to close ecosystem and off course expensive apps and accessories.
A mid range phone can do all things that a iphone can do also in India only people wiith zero technical knowledge and attention seekers will buy iphone.
