I'm annoyed that the finger print sensor is on the back. That's the only thing which is bothering me at the moment. I thought Samsung had new tech which enabled quick finger print recognition by just touching the glass panel without the need for a physical reader...I guess not...

I DO NOT like the rear fingerprint scanner AT ALL. I constantly use my phone on my desk at work, unlock with fingerprint then use while flat on desk. Having this rear scanner now makes you always pick up the phone.

Well... That's official... Not getting the S8. If it was just an S7 Edge with the S8 internaks and Bixby, that would've been awesome. My last hope is that the N8 still has hardware keys.

I'm no Sammy fan but I admit this one looks very nice. I just hope it is easy to root so in the case I buy it I can get rid of that horrible looking interface they call TouchWiz. This is the main reason I never bought one.
The second main reason I never went with Sammy is because everyone I know owning a galaxy phone has a broken display. How is that possible? They lie about gorilla glass or what?
Im a mobile phone nerd and im getting sick of friends asking me to "fix" their Sammy phones (they all complain it lags like crazy after a few months of intense usage).
Either way, if I'll buy the s8, I'll root it from day one and delete at least 80% of their so called features.

I want the note 8 but I'm worried they will remove the 3.5 mm jack.so should I get the 8 plus as that will have the 3.5mm?

At least better looking than G6 (no big chin and side bezels). On the other hand its modest specs is a dissapointment (only 10% faster than last year, all the while Chinese companies use A73 cores and 8GB oF RAM) and lower PPI than last year (a step back there).
Awkward position for the fingertip too (they could at least out it below the camera so that it would be ambidexterous).
