The logo isn't drastically different, but we have an official name now!

About the most stable network is 3G. Better to start it early then late I guess.

This looks like a logo of a gas company from the 90s

Herodroid, 09 Feb 2017+1 I agree. They should first cover 4G about 100% just like... more5G is downwards compatible. That means a 5G antenna mast also spreads 4G and 3G, but both with a wider range. So better develope new technologies than relying on old ones until they are exploited completely.

AnonD-640268, 09 Feb 2017Still no stable 4g and these guys are moving to 5g +1 I agree. They should first cover 4G about 100% just like 3G is.

Too bad nobody is bringing us 5G technology. 5G is classified as over 1gbps. Verizon and AT&T are trying to bring us "up to 1gbps" which they are marketing as 5G. This is a classic marketing ploy.

Nobody cares. 4G definitely can't be used due to data caps in most places of the world. 5G would be even more worthless.

We live in an era where technology (in some things) have surpassed politics/law (because it's more of a political rather than an econical view to only allow very little use of mobile Internet to people, espec after so many years), thus having little need evolve further.

Fix the laws and the policies on this (make it illegal to use cartel moves like all providers agreeting keeping th data caps extremely low despite having less need of them as they expand their network).

Once the law is fixed, *then* I would be able to get exciTed by 5G. At this point I'm barely excited about 4G (at least with 3G I reach the data caps more slowly and in a more controlled manner)
