Nvidia's Shield tablets are starting to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update

The Xiaomi MiPad is almost identical to the Shield, but it is still lingering around with android 4.4.
This however shows, how good the hardware actually is.

Actually this is unprecedented in the Android realm. Nothing that launched on KitKat (not even Google's Nexus) got updated to Nougat! So Kudos to Nvidia! :D

I w... moreI wouldn't hold my breath, since they're now part of the Nintendo Switch I believe they may have signed a non-competion agreement to not release something similar under their own brand and with the same chipset.
