AnonD-546038, 13 Feb 2017Zuk Z2, costs about 156, similar specs.The ZUK is around 190, but its a cheap phone, everything on it is cheap. Name one phone with the specs of the alcatel idol 4s, thats cheaper. You won't find one. It ok to hate on windows, I hate it too for deliberately destroying a good OS, but this phone is top notch.

Edge is totally unusable, it crashes many times every minute on my Lumia 640 after the Anniversary update! Monument Browser is the only usable browser on Windows 10 Mobile!

No device with such specs should cost more than 250 bucks. If you paid more, you're either fanboy or just plain stupid.
ZUK Z2 tops them all, don't want to even discuss that.

1. use custom launchers to get the notofication counters.
2. what? this happens to me on 925.
3. since its huaiwei's UI, use google keyboard from play store. (you should know the difference between stock vs customized rom)
4. dont know about that.
5. gallery app shows both photo/video.

7. youtube red subricptions only(windows does not even have googles youtube app)
9. yep most of the time. but you can move those apps to sd card, if you have one.

D... moreYou're forgetting one very important thing: this 288 price is for T-Mobile only lol you go to the windows store and buy the unlocked version, it costs 470, 3X price of ZUK!!! ZUK is unlocked. And for 470 you can buy a OP3T 128GB which kills the Idol4S all day and everyday.
Still you'll reach further in ZUK's car because of a bigger gas tank (500mAh more) and you can take an extra person with you for the trip (dual sim card).
Yes it costs half, it's a matter of priorities. I know amoled's are more expensive as well as dragon tail glass but for me it's not worth the 2X price.
And by the way, the fingerprint sensor in the Idol is crap, placed in the back and small, difficult to activate.
Don't try to compare what's not comparable, for the price Z2 is unbeatable.

Stereo speakers vs mono speaker (stereo offers richer sound, and is more expensive)
Card slot vs no slot (obviously extra costs)
By all means, if you consider that a car with leather seats, adaptive LED headlights, automatic transmission, and automatic climatisation should cost as much as the same model but with textile seats, normal headlights, manual transmission and no A/C, just because they have the same engine and use the same fuel, then sure - these phones should cost the same, too.

[deleted post]No, he is actually right. I just switched from Windows 8.1 to Android 6.0 three days ago, and I am missing a lot of features and functionality from Windows. Androids are ok for the average Joe using his phone for basic tasks, but business professionals need certain options and reliability that is currently found only on Windows phones.
