its not the specs its what OS it runs. Windows is a sinking ship (on phones) even if its for $100 i wouldn't bother even though i like collecting phones

          Is it $288 Unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier?

          OR do i need to unlock it from 3rd party?

            Having been forced to use android, I cannot wait for the Surface Phone so that I can ditch this pile of (android) elephant dung

              By the way - Windows phones are not targeting app junkies, but business professionals who require reliability and smart features.
              I've just switched from an old Lumia 925 to the Huawei P9 and there are so many missing features that it makes the whole OS feel like 'meh'.
              For example:
              - only a few apps show badges with counters of unchecked notifications on top of icons. Why not all of them? Now I have to open apps to see what's going on?
              - certain apps don't show any notifications at all OR they show these with a delay of 10-15+ minutes. How is this possible in a fairly new device?
              - the keyboard is far behind the one on Windows phones in terms of functionality, looks, and usage
              - setting up an Exchange email account on the default email app takes forever and is barely working
              - separate apps for photo gallery and video gallery. Why? Why not only one app?
              - changing the UI text size won't change the size of buttons and bars, thus making everything look weird
              - Youtube app doesn't play under lock screen or while switching to other apps. Seriously? How is this possible?
              - connecting to your Microsoft account through the Outlook app won't sync your calendar with the default Calendar app
              - half the apps I had installed on Windows are taking twice the storage space on Android.

                Idk about that the Android version of this phone Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM 32 g of storage, and the windows version has 820 snap dragon processor, 4 g of ram 64 g of internal storage . The Android version is 400.00$ on Amazon right now. This is a great deal if you like windows 10.

                      That's very expensive for a windows phone. You can find phones with almost half the price having similar specs and running android (millions upon millions of apps).

                      So yeah, this news is a trap.
