In 20nm, Qualcomm sell S810, what a shame!!!
X20 is OK in 20nm! Even as fast as 16nm UFS 2.0 S820 on some tasks

I think this is the first time we see a Mediatek chipset to be this interesting since Samsung/Qualcomm wants to monopolize the Snapdragon Chipset for themselves.

Due to the lack or real LITTLE core, Kryo is compromise...Nothing more.
Even Qualcomm nearly admit it : s835 is close to A73 big.LITTLE
Lte cat 16 is useless until your CPU is unable to treat bandwidth...Try to open website on your PC with a 20Mb ADSL and a 600Mb 4G smartphone...
GPU on x30 is between iPhone 6s and iPhone 7...If stable that will be great!
GPU on Snapdragon are always the same : Lost half the framerate on Long Term performances (805/810 QHD 820) and made to fit benchmarks with heavy fillrate but GPU is not only fillrate.

-Photoshopped screen bezels in promo pictures... check.
-Powerful CPU paired with weak-sauce GPU... check.
-More RAM than you'll ever need because it's a cheap component that looks good on paper... check.
-"First-ever" claim with no actual release in sight... check

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2017Only when I see a performance comparison, not benchmarks, w... moreI've been using a phone with MT6589 for the past 3 years and the first app to make it sweat was Fallout Shelter so I know for a fact they're not bad processors. Snapdragon line on the other hand had a bad track record of overheating before the 14nm process. That being said I'm now switching to SD 820 simply because it's the best CPU on the market at the moment and it's going to be a while before affordable phones with comparable MTKs appear.
