Ironic thing is that fanboys might actually that release statement and think new iphones being released. After all the white iphone 4 is 'special' and worth waiting for,much more special than a black iphone 4 with a white case,ironically the white iphone 4 inevitably needing a case to cover it anyhow!!

Iphone 4 best phone?! Bizarre,the so called best phone ironically does the fundamental requirements of a phone badly...hold reception and not drop calls. People on waiting lists to get and on waiting further later on as there iphone goes away testing as a 'doa' for faulty reception. See it everyday in my local shop

Bybis, 16 Feb 2011Anyone knows when gonna to be launch into market HTC Desire HD2?There is no "HTC Desire HD2" yet. Maybe when the next 4.3" screen phone is out, HTC will name it that way, maybe not. For now the DHD is still the king of Androids. And before anyone tells me about its single-core processor, think how many apps are optimized for dual-core or even if the OS itself is optimized for dual-cores. In a year maybe the dual-cores will be able to maximize their potential, but you can bet HTC will have their dual-core out by then and no other phone will be able to match their creation. Sense, build quality, official support, XDA community support - which other manufacturer can claim that their product beats HTC in those areas?
iPhone 4 took the best device award primary for their app store and that's justified. It's the ultimate device for the masses - there is no doubt about that. HTC are absolutely the best manufacturer of the year - they brought most of the inovations in the 2010. They built the N1, they made the Desire, the Evo 4G, the DHD - all of them groungbreaking devices. What did Samsung made? The Galaxy S? Released four months afer the Desire and what did you get more than the Desire? SAMOLED and... nothing else really worth mentioning. But it's worth mentioning all the bugs you got with the Samsung joke they call "software". HTC addressed the bugs in the DHD within weeks after the release. When did the SGS owners get rid of the lag? The NS? SGS+NFC. Bravo! Good job... well, nice job... well, job well done... Oh, it is the only phone shipped with Gingerbread. But that's Google, not Samsung. The only inovation that company brought was the Galaxy Tab. But it's still unclear what the future of the tablets holds. So no - Samsung does not deserve the best manufacturer award. It doesn't matter how many phones they sold. If the award was for that, it would be called "best marketing", and we all know who would get that. Hell, even I would vote two hands for Apple for that!

I don't know how much credibility has this MWC,but their opinions are very debatable. The manufacturer of the year award should have gone to Samsung for revolutionasing the smartphone industry with Galaxy S and Wave. The Galaxy was the second best sold device(smartphone segment) in the world,while the Bada platform,created by Samsung was a big succes. Samsung created the best smartphone-Galaxy and launched it's own OS,with great succes. I believe Samsung deserved this award!

It should have been the phone of the year Not even the shitty Android can touch it and it's way better than the iPhone.

12 mp camera (the best and still the best)
Ovi maps
S^3 (best OS)
Great battery life

Some sort of joke? Surely? Even the HTC Desire smashes the iPhone 4. GF picked one up at release, it's a horrible phone. Oh lets set out all our apps across the screens in rows. Isn't that awesome. Not at all boring. No widgets, no real multi tasking. NO FLASH = a flawed phone. FAR from the worlds best.

3ds graphics chip is more powerfull than that of the iphone 4. psp2 has quad core processor and quad core gpu. Not to mention the superior controls on both those devices compared to the iphone.

It's obvious. I have used many devices on 2010 like galaxy s, n8, htc desire hd, omnia 7, xperia x10, n900 , and so many. But none of this like iPhone 4. I will say, it does not have camera like n8. It may not really a multitasking like android. It may not have gorgeous display like omnia 7 or galaxy s. But it has something so that everytime I went to other device I come again to it. What I like on iPhone is user friendly, fluent and flow like water. It has best industry level game and graphics. Just imagine FIFA 11 is 850 mb and 1.2 gb on iPhone! Not to mention prince of Persia, nfs hot persuit, street fighter 4. U can try infinity blade also, unreal engine based game.I will not say it has best hardware. But you can't deny that it has industries best game titles with graphics. Do you know why? Because most of the developers make best game for it. I played nfs shift on galaxy s, n8 and iPhone 4. Best is iPhone 4. In both graphics and gameplay. Obvious cause for n8 size is 72 mb and for iPhone it it 450 mb! I even played asphalt 5 on 3 devices. Galaxy s and n8 does not even have cool videos of those girls which unlock in later levels. So I would say other platforms do not get full extend of games like iPhone. I do think it will change when xperia play will come to market. I do not say other sets on market are bad. It's totally depend on peoples choice. What you want to do with your device. It's totally personal. But for me, iPhone 4 is best device in 2010.
