Great specs, 4:3 is the best aspect ratio for everything maybe except movies (I don't mind black bars). Snapdragon 820 - I prefer Qualcomm to Exynos, 2048 x 1536 is more than sufficient, also 4 GB RAM. S-pen - fantastic.
I loved iPad but its limitations are severe, this will be very good Android replacement :-)

AnonD-644994, 17 Feb 2017For a tablet with these rare specs I certainly would. Enjoy

An 820 tablet? That's a surprise since the tablet industry is pretty much dead.

Why would any one want to pay 600 for a year or more old tech!

                      Whata huge disappointment! Oversized,
and 4:3 aspect ratio are deal killers.

To say that people don't watch media in tablets is erroneous. Even if not watching netflix, most certainly do watch the occasional youtube video. Video is such an integral part of modern usage that 4:3 makes no sense anymore. 4:3 is not good for reading or borwsing either as they are both done better on 3:2. So no excuse there either.

I agree that 16:9 is awful for tablet though. It kills portrait mode. No OEM ever used that atrocious aspect ratio. Samsung's 16:10 was fine though, I wonder why they changed it.

rrhyme, 14 Feb 2017For me, 4:3 ratio is not good for media consumption.. 16:9 ... moreIt's obvious that they're running away from the whole media consumption thing. It's like *gasp*, not everyone is buying tablets just to watch widescreen video on!

I agree the price is ridiculous, but it's not confirmed so grain of salt.

compared to the s7 series, this looks so....mid range, mediocre..no premium feels at all...its no wonder i went ipad pro..it looks premium even though the the experience is shitty..though the s-pen in the box is a good touch..i'd say sony had better ideas on making tablets

For me, 4:3 ratio is not good for media consumption.. 16:9 is better..
The spec is good, but wow that price..

Seriously, what are these company's smoking that makes them think we want to pay an extra $100 for a rear camera on a tablet? It's the very definition of pointless.

4:3 kills media consumption so this tablet is a hard pass. Ever since Tab S2 Samsung went into hard Apple copying. Sad!
