      Toshiba has bad strategy and its the end now.. how can they make such a blind mistake. Their products r no good also.. laptops are junk tvs etc..

        So they sell the profitable divisions to fill the gap of the unprofitable divisions? This sound like bankruptcy, because it's unlikely that they will make profit from the remaining parts...

            Well, that explains why I haven't been able to find one of their portable USB3 hard drives. I have two of them and love them. Solid, stable devices. Didn't want to go to Western Digital with their QC issues the last 3 years, but now may just have to. Won't touch a Seagate drive for nothing.

              You know a company's in trouble when haven't heard from them in a while.

                They are selling semi-conductor business because of the dumb nuclear deal? Sounds absurd

                  This is sad news, Toshiba I seen as one of the best Japanese firms out there, always reliable and good pricing. Their Android phone was also very good but again lack of interest and overflooded market killed them in that space. Good tablets as well.
