LG G6 battery capacity revealed: "more than 3,200 mAh"

The information that's been outed in Korean media today reportedly comes from "a senior official" at the company.

And before the stupid "DOA" comments arise, If LG takes a look back at their LG G2 (that had the best battery life from my experience and it was only 3000mAh), and how well their software was optimized on that device and optimize it the same way in the LG G6, I don't see what the issue is, the same way I say numbers with the SOC and benchmarks don't matter, the same goes for battery capacity, Optimization my fellow tech folks, optimization is the answer.

LG can place a 6000mAh battery within their phone, but if the software ain't optimized right, it's pointless to me.

And also a Senior Executive said they was worried to place a higher capacity with their G6 and I quote from the Etnews Article "LG Electronics said it has increased battery capacity while ensuring safety for consumers' convenience, but said it did not attempt too much to worry. It is a back door that I have been worried about for a long time in relation to the increase of battery capacity.", also keep in mind their teaser of what they're advertising, a big screen in a small body, if LG were to go with a higher battery capacity than 3200mAh, they'll have to increase the whole body of the phone itself and wouldn't stand true to their own marketing of this thing being small but with a BIG screen.

Also what I get from this article is they saw the Note 7 debacle as an example to not try to squeeze a 3500mAh battery into a slim body, I see this as a smart move.

I hope LG has optimized their software really well though, but I'm not going to say "DOA", because I, neither do anybody else besides LG has this device to come up with that conclusion.

    Common problems from G2 after 2years battery getting bigger cause lcd pop off, hopefully LG fixed it
