Iris and finger scanner means this information is sold to Government organisations all around the world. You do not own anything when using Google, or Facebook for that matter.

If you use the phone with your left hand it's almost impossible to use the finger print scanner. Plus if you use the phone in landscape mode the FP is impossible to find. Although my biggest bug bear is you have to pick the phone up to open it when it's lying on the table etc.

I guess the fingerprint sensor is embeded in the home screen and it has a dual camera so thats why its so big at the rear (camera space)

It is made that way to compensate the pixel count loss due to the rounded corner of the screen similarly seen in Mi Mix. Watching movie will still be on 16:9 ratio on landscape mode and there will be black bar on both right and left side. Dont worry too much about it. Even the curved is made even more subtle than Note7.
