I have an regular s7 and cant find any decent screen protrctors cause of his bit rounded edges. All of them leave an l air gap between the screen and protector glass. This is the main reason that i miss flat screens. Onestly , dont see the point of the edge screen what so ever... its just a useless gimmick....

You simply cannot use an S7 Edge without a case, because there is no grip whatsoever. The height of the side edge is like 1mm, that's all.

Also, flat screens are very good at accepting durable and fuss-free screen protectors. As of now, one year later, there are no good screen protectors for the S7 Edge. All existing screen protectors have huge issues (no glue between glass and screen, air gaps, edges lifting, loss of sensitivity and loss of resolution/visibility) and are basically useless.

The only difference is that in place of bezels edge screens have even more screen. So you lose nothing, you still have the same amount of usable area + a bit more screen which while not very usable at least shows something/information (bezels show literally nothing, they are worthless in this day and age).

Not so good design... Bezelless concept itself is not user friendly. Going to have lots of false touch. Even my note 5 seems to have too thin bezel to operate. In the name of design and revolution, ergonomics is hugely compromised

DNS, 21 Feb 2017Stop with that curved screen nonsense. Flat is the way to go. Fortunately, there are some people against curved screens, not only me :) If s8 would have FLAT RECTANGULAR screen, it would be MUCH better. Edge is a waste of screen space - you can actually use only around 80% of your screen because of the curvature.

Sorry, i am not gonna buy curved display phone again after the note 7 display edge has broken from mere fall from my pocket . I was the happiest person when the mobile was recalled globally , otherwise i would easily end up paying another 250 $ for the new display. Lesson learned . Unless mobile world comes with non breakable display.

It's amusing how each time Samsung releases a new flagship phone lots of people (who probably can't afford it) hate on it and it ends up selling millions anyway.

"Samsung, being rivals with LG, probably used their spies to gather information about the G6, and tried to replicate it"

That's a little far fetched, don't you think. Who's replicating who, exactly?
By your logic, don't you think LG had also used their spies to gather information about the Galaxy S8?

The Galaxy S8 does resembles the LG G6, much like the physical design of any flat panel television resembles that of any other flat panel television. Much like the physical design of any laptop resembles that of any other laptop. Much like the physical design of any Blu-ray player resembles that of any other Blu-ray player. Much like the physical design of any given ballpoint pen resembles that of any other ballpoint pen.

Do you see what I'm getting at here?
