If Samsung can curve the display on both side then why don't they put down all the buttons from right or left I mean the camera control key the volume rocker up and down, why this can not be achieved from curved display gesture ? if the sim tray go up and no headphone jack is enabled we can achieve a more slimmer display and form factor. Even the charger connector can be replaced with wireless charging which will make a device more resistant to water and dust no more holes. Software need to be improved to use finger print sensor built in display to do perform many functions. Give up all the press button. Thanks

Someone Else, 22 Feb 2017I gotta admit, the soft keys looks so modern.Yup, agree with you. Only Samsung has different software navigation keys than others (And i hope they change it for their own OS too).
Pixel's on screen buttons are good, they added animation on home key.
LG's on screen buttons are ugly and uninspiring.
Sony's on screen buttons are meeeh....uninspiring.

The back button STAYS on the right
Unlike all other Android on screen buttons - Samsung is the only company to acknowledge that the majority of people on this planet are right handed (sorry left-handed users!)
This is very, VERY good news.

Xiaomi didn't even do a proper job with its promotion of the mi mix. Their poster images showed noticeably slimmer bezels than the actual phone. Trying to fool the public eh? Just to get more people jumping on the bandwagon? Fact of the matter is, the mi mix is an overhyped underachiever. The bottom bezel is awkward, the front camera placement is awkward, the entire thing is awkward to the point that xiaomi had to rectify it with promotional images that were better looking than the finished product. You call me a hater? Fine. Doesn't change the fact that xiaomi is a wannabe mainstream company that's only ever good at making apple/samsung clones and beguiling the misinformed and the less budget-happy folk. Have fun with your inferior choice.

I only use earphone when someone's around. So I do not bother the person.
Front speaker are so much better. My G Pad has speaker on the back, that sucks.
My point is for 800,00 or more Samsung should pack the best stuff available.

3700 mAh on s8 and 4200 on s8+
Noise cancelling like Sony does
Assistent is useless, it is just because Apple has.
