Doesn't seem like much. I expect an absolutely incredibly max out specs smartphone. But this is pretty much standard specs in flagship.

Motorola is the same with less than 50% usage. Only Samsung needs more RAM considering how bloated TouchWiz/Grace UI can be. Motorola, Sony, and HTC all have better software optimization than Samsung. LG has already leap frogged passed them too when they used to have the 2nd laggiest skin during the G3 season.
Samsung can make a snappy Snapdragon 820 run like molasses while all the other phones are 20+ seconds faster using the same SoC. Their RAM management is terrible. Sony doesn't need over 3 GB just like Apple doesn't really need 2 GB for iOS. Both know their software optimization. Samsung still hasn't figured it out yet. It only takes a matter of time when all Samsung devices start to lag and a quicker, degraded battery...
Check the Xperia Z3 comments on this site. So many owners who had it for 2.5 years. The Z3 is still reliable, fast and fluid. Can't say the same for the Note 4 released around the same time with overheating problems and updates that made it laggy like it is the Gingerbread era again.

Also benchmarks are irrelevant there is literally no app to stress the soc that much (maybe some games). We're on mobiles not PCs, mobiles are built with different use cases in mind.
Thinks like sustained performance, IO performance and RAM amount are far more important...

Galaxy s7 suck,cheap,themes,buble text ugly,no sight of a galaxy,it doesnt standup by it name,at firt it was ok then the batterfly efect took over,with it new stupid update,but still no stely at all,in is over look,not animated themes,not a good renovation,oh and ifon is the same,have change think that galaxy was better but same,when you make a good fon make standup above the rest,iam not happy with it muchmore theprice is to much for so litter technology,inside the fon,you have no captivate my eyes with it,

I would not mind 4gb ram.
The issue is the dirty UI.
4gb ram cellphone should give you at least 2,9 free not 1gb.
Too many useless things background.
What is the point of offering 6gb if the UI takes away 5?

A lot of guys here seem to expect big things from the new Sony Xperia. Just remember two things:
1. Sony ALWAYS disappoints.
2. Sony has never released a phone with more than 3gigs of RAM. If you expect 6 gigs in their next flagship you WILL be disappointed.

Zenodroid, 23 Feb 2017Devicespecifications.com look thereI stand corrected for the C9 Pro but not for the One Plus 3T or most probably many of the other forthcoming 6gb or 8gb 2017 flagships and the extra RAM certainly helps the OP3t. All the other manufacturers can't be wrong. The defenders of Samsung at any price on here will try and say otherwise and defend it but there are YouTube videos that clearly demonstrate it. And the question of why only Europe still stands. The same decisions that stopped the Note 5 getting to Europe I suppose. Let me guess, we didn't need that either!

The only way to excuse that 4GB of ram is only if it was ddr5 ( that it will available sooner than we think for pc ) .

But it's better to leave a clueless comment and sound like a complete moron.

Unless you are shooting in RAW or going to blow up your picture in a billboard, a super high megapixel camera is not needed unless you are a professional photog.
