They would charge at max U$20 in this phone, in any trip to US or EUR, you find feature phones with chip for U$20 or €20...

It will sell like pancakes and would be known as best side chick .

I like that they are keeping it simple , also it should be without camera because a camera would ruin the design , also who wants to use a 2mp camera when they have a better camera in their primary phone.

chrwl007, 23 Feb 2017No, probably Series 40Series 40 is dead and buried. It will be Series 30+ (a.k.a. Mediatek) like all Nokia branded feature phones since 2014. I don't think HMD even bought the IP for Series 40 from Microsoft, and in any case there were virtually no Series 40 developers left after 2014 when Microsoft shut down the Asha OS development (Asha OS was S40 based with a new UI).

They really missed an opportunity here. Should've made it a flagship. like the old 3310 was the most coveted device, and it was very expensive when it came out, not a cheap device. This phone should have kept the essence of the 3310, the shape and the color scheme but it should have been game changing, with an edge to edge front screen curved around the edges with that shape.

One nokia phone that is still have a place in my cupboard is Nokia Pureview 808. I have a Red one, brand new condition boxes and unused earphones. I love it!!

I think the fun and idea behind it is cool actually. Has its retro market. Long live the battery. Not everyone wants to be stuck on technology smart phone addiction. That said, keen to see Nokia flagship later this year.

The days of the very basic feature phone are long gone.
If the feature phone is to make a comeback they should be more capable, at the very least be able to sync with outlook, Apple or Google accounts to easily retrieve contacts, view emails and calender events.
If like me you have lots of contacts and you screen your calls it's not realistic to enter them by hand.

jerry, 23 Feb 2017Red, green and yellow? What about the classic blue?I thought the same at first, then realised the way it's worded doesn't mean it will be ONLY those colours, simply that the colours available will be at least red, green, and yellow.

                      I'm dearly hoping I'm right here :D

kammem2, 23 Feb 2017if they sell more than 10 million units I will change my na... more#1 yeah because monochrome screens isn't a cheap nostalgia grab at all *rolls eyes*

#2 If it's as rugged as it is hyped to be, then yeah the price is worth it

#3 They aren't releasing the same exact phone

The people who are constantly regurgitating the 'Return of the King' slogan for Nokia are finally getting their golden goose, and now when they get it, nitpick it to the smallest atom. I swear consumers are brain dead.

                          Anonymous, 23 Feb 2017What os? Symbian?No, probably Series 40

if they sell more than 10 million units I will change my name...Why Nokia made a mistake here?
                            1. it should not to be color screen
                            2. it should not be 60$
                            3. it should not be released again

If whatsapp will not run on this phone than this phone will be real crap.

Nick.B, 23 Feb 2017Mine was original dark blueYup, same here. Dark blue/navy blue, same thing.

I used that 3310 brick for a solid two years. Then upgraded to a color screen Nokia 3595 in 2003. Hated it and it got accidentally soaked in liquid. Missed my 3310 (aka 3360). Very simple to use phone and the keypad was way better than the lame 3595 had. The 3310 keypad didn't peel off or show damage as easily like the 3595 did either.

Who will buy this ancient thing? People who wants a reliable, durable phone for just texts and calls. Old schoolers. No frills. No gimmicks. I would love if Nokia made a more miniaturized version of this. Would attach it to my keychain and put a T-Mobile prepaid sim for emergency calls.

If Nokia could bring this back, I would love a refresh for other Nokias like the N91, N73, N95, N82, N8, and N9. Nokia is legendary to me when it comes to value, innovative features, and build quality. The kiddies born after 2000 wouldn't have a clue of their former glory.

                                  Mine was original dark blue

brings me so many 2000 year memories

With its current thickness, fitting 15000 mAh battery shouldn't be a problem now. =D
