AnonD-270570, 26 Feb 2017It's legendary It's honestly nothing special.
It's using last year's specs with this year's pricing. 4:3 aspect ratio is a throwback to the past only iPad is still using it to keep legacy support pretty much everyone important has moved to 3:2 (Microsoft and Google).
It's heavier than the last Tab s (tab s2) despite using almost the same battery and weight is huge in tablets' long term usability.
It's good that they added back the pen to a relatively high end tablet (note 10.1 from 2013 was the last one). But still it's nothing impressive compared to what they could do: 2560x1700 10.2 inch screen, SD835 SoC, 6GB Ram. All very possible, even probable with current tech if they still cared about tabletsthat is (best selling kind of computer according to IDC).

i miss the pen that can be mounted in the tablet ala "Galaxy Note" design. I wonder why they cant do that here (yes they have the Tab A but the resolution is not good) . I will pass this one since my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is still ok.

Look very good on paper but it's an Android tablet when we all know that the android tablets apps is just crap and poorly designed as compare to iPad apps.

I'm against Samsung all day all night, but I respect their decision for Tab S3 on quad-speaker Harman Kardon (AKG is one of their subsidiaries) and that beautiful 9.7 inch display (about)1500x2000 in resolution with 10-bit HDR AMOLED display.

Yet another "flagship" samsung tablet with old specs. Just like that, the old ipad pros are more powerful than this new tablet.

I will never buy samsung products. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T560 and it is stuck on KitKat. Samsung support is very poor. Shame Shame Samsung. Huawei is the best.

What's happened to the 8" version, and why no, cheaper, version released without the pen? It seems Samsung have moved this way up market without producing anything new to replace it in the middle price tablet range?
