If John Chen, CEO of Blackberry, had a clue, he'd approach Sony about putting Bos 10.x on a Sony phone. But since he doesn't, he won't. LOLzzzzzz

Next time buy an actual high-end flagship from a non-chinese brand before attacking android..

I am talking about a 3-4 year old phone running the latest version released end last year (up to date) of sailfish without any issue or lag... In fact, even after every new update the phone still feels brand new! :-) Apparently the latest update soon to be released improves performance even more, can't wait!

Maaaan......no lag on Android. I must have missed something because my Motorola G4 Plus has lag. I only needed to wait 3 months to see what you deny and has not disappeared ever since. What is mostly interesting is that my phone is not full with apps. I am trying to keep it vey clean.

Anyway....I hope that Sailfish will become a good alternative, as well, W10M . Regardless this, I agree that Android has come a long way since older versions but the UI is still the same boring concept combined with a lot of vulnaribities.....

Perhaps Nokia could join too. Though going vertical making both software and hardware looks like picking a fight with the establishment - Google, Apple and Samsung - a fight that would be hard to win.

I have no experience with Sailfish/MeeGo but people seems to love it- just look at popularity of Nokia N9 which I'am trying to get too, so I hope it will get successful in future and Nokia may pick it.

AnonD-625786, 28 Feb 2017It sure is, agreed, but Sailfish will definitely fail. What do you base that on? It is an OS that has managed to stay longer than WP/Firefox/Ubuntu Touch OS so far. Plus, you can run Android apps on this, so it started off with the massive apps database available to all users.

That is great news. Hope to come with language and keyboard support for all languages. Sailfish is the best os out there.
