MrJollaInfo, 28 Feb 2017Sailfish runs smoothly and without lag on 3-4 year old phon... moreI have not used Sailfish myself but am not opposed to it, but I want to point out that I still have an old Sam. Galaxy SII that I keep around for reasons, once it's reset to factory it runs like new as expected. Same goes for my SIII and my old HTC Magic (dinosaur I know).
I'm sure once you start loading up an older phone running sailfish it will start to lag. That's just common sense.

paco2x, 28 Feb 2017Remember, competition is always good.It sure is, agreed, but Sailfish will definitely fail.

Windows had to give up in mobile (thank god for that). But what makes Jolla think it can do better when all that counts is apps, apps, apps,..?

Sailfish runs smoothly and without lag on 3-4 year old phones... Imagine performance on current hardware. P.S. In Sailfish, simply enable "Developer mode" under settings and become full administrator, with terminal access, etc. (rooting)

What can I say. You guys just don't now what u re talking about. Sailfish OS is the best OS I have ever used and I still do. Jolla 1 with the new update (comes every month) is as fast as the 3GB ram Android and Jolla is an 1GB ram phone with crap cpu! ;)
