Looking at the Geekbench 4 results for Xiaomi redmi 4x (Snapdragon 435), it appears that it uses big.LITTLE in either cluster or in-kernel switching, so only using up to 4 cores at a time... This would mean the battery life will be good, but peak performance will lag let's say compared to Moto G5 (Snapdragon 430). Also it is sad that no quick charge is included for such a large battery.

I've been using android since 2012 and I'm not kind of person who just blabbing on internet without any proves

This is my personal opinion to xiaomi itself nothing to do with you, mind your own business

now xiaomi started to act like samsung by confusing the customers in the less than 15k segment. redmi 3s,3s prime, redmi note 4,redmi 4,4a,4prime now 4x :(

Crap design. The one on the Redmi 4 Prime was much better.BTW if Xiaomi has any plan for launching this as the successor of Redmi 3s then It's gonna be a tough sale.

It lacks a few LTE bands in Europe. 720p? Why isn't this a 4.7" like the Redmi 2 Pro with a removable battery? It's going to be worth $5 in a few years when the battery is dead. :-/

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2017These are some pretty cheap prices. This is where Nokia 6 s... moreentry lvl xiaomi is cheap because thats it, only the processor. if u compare it with the same processor of the phone with higher price tag, good bye xiaomi. the camera, the sound etc. all makes the difference.

At same price of 899 Yuan, I wonder why will anybody pick SD435 processor on Redmi 4X and not buy SD 625 processor on Redmi 4 Prime

Why don't you flash some custom-roms by yourself ? There are many marshmallow based custom-roms for redmi note 2 such as CM13. If you are a kind of stupid who can only use official-roms, stay on jailed apple and don't go to the trouble of trying Android devices.

This is the Redmi 4/4X/4S/whatever they call that will be the successor to Redmi 3S/Prime in India

                                    From the official website:

                                    "支持频段: GSM B2/B3/B5/B8
                                    WCDMA B1/B2/B5/B8
                                    TD-SCDMA B34/B39
                                    CDMA2000/1X BC0
                                    FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8
                                    TD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41(2555-2655MHz)"

                                    http://www.mi.com/redmi4x/specs/

The band 8 LTE is available to use in this case. So this Xiaomi is at least useful in Peru with Bitel (mobile operator)
