WTF. This phone is HUGE. I really hate this. I know it's nice on a big screen but beyond 5.5 inch is simply a tablet!!! I don't like it sammy.

On looks alone, the G6 wins, in my opinion. But the S8 has VR, better processor, desktop functionality (like Windows Continuum), better screen, iris scanner (and notification light, which is missing on the G6 and is actually more visible and economical than the always-on display).

And if you really want to root it the exynos version is better because you can unlock the bootloader and use good roms with a rocking kernel.
If you need CDMA the. You have root but not full fledged. It's a bit buggy, not terrible, no unlocked bootloader, very minimal basic stock roms, and basically stuck to average root privelages. Though root gives you the choice to use cooler themes like marvel and umbrella Corp and such

People now a days are brand concious, look iphone, nothing special on it other than the logo on the back. Samsung fault is removing their logo. Curve edge is a symbol of samsung now and everybody want to be unique.. that's life.. by the way this is samsung page. We will wait for final release anyway if this is real or fake.

Samsung's gonna alienate a big chunk of its userbase for not releasing a compact version of its flagship like the Galaxy S7 flat with 5.1-inch screen. Not everyone wants a phablet.

Samsung is constantly improving and beautifying their UI whereas there's like zero effort by Sony in improving their UI. Xperia UI can easily pass as a keypad-based UI and not a modern touch based UI like iOS and Samsung's Grace UX.

I'm going to be in a minority of one with this comment I guess, but I am not a fan of the rush to bezel-less designs.
I can't hold my existing phone (S7 edge) without accidentally pressing the screen on the sides - admittedly more of a curved screen problem - but I also constantly accidentally press buttons close to the bottom of the screen when trying to use the home button.
I have larger than average hands and fingers, and holding and navigating phones where the screen is getting closer to the edges properly, is becoming harder.
I wonder whether the headlong rush towards form over function is a worthy pursuit beyond this point?

Oh great. I think my S7 Edge has better design than this S8. No Samsung branding on the front? People gonna assume it's some cheap Chinese dummy. No home button in the bottom sucks.. Skip for me.

Hopefully, Samsung will not do the same thing as LG with the G6, and so beautiful 2017 aesthetics but 2016 specs, hopefully Samsung will include the 2017 specs, the SD835, 6GB RAM, 64GB as standard & most specifically a dual stereo speakers!!!!!!!!!!
