S8 and G6 both are same generation phones. One can not possibly copy other as their rumors started coming from a long time. One is just being released ahead of other. Stop trying to make a deal out of everything.

TouchWiz / Grace UX is nowhere as consistent throughout the software are some of the other contemporary skins out there. And even if the themes could change the system icons (and they can), they still look a bit too juvenile for my liking. That, of course, is my opinion... Some may love it that way.

The phone looks stunning as an artifact but usability i don't like curved screens at all.Samsung should have stayed with a regular and an edge version and not to deny the customer's right to choose.

Are you saying the themes will change the system icons? The ones you see inside the settings menu? Cos if this is true I might consider buying an S7, but I'd still try to root it from day one.
Is it possible to root the phone without unlocking the bootloader like I did on my Sony? I used KingRoot apk. Could anyone confirm please?

Beautiful wallpaper, but why did they have to copy Sonys clock on the lockscreen? It's not very good, the previous clock was better

Shifted from HTC to Samsung in 2012. No physical home button would be my departure from Samsung to Xiaomi or Huawei, or unfortunately Oppo, Vivo or Apple. Using Note 3 btw. Had some cash for Note 7, but now waiting for Note 8 (if any). I think I now will have to go for a Note 4 with A9 Pro. Note 5 was never my game because of limited storage. And tech is advancing, these two could be my last Samsungs.
A beautiful journey is about to end.
Really unhappy about it. I hope Nokia or HTC create some wonder. Xiaomi is going cheap day by day. New phones don't posses quality comparable to MI 3 and MI 4.

User of MI MIX here, and got to say S8 looks alot like the Honor Magic, and abit like the G6. Well I dont think it looks mind blowing, but it is decent. Might consider picking it up. But maybe not.
