I agree with you. People should get familiar with various phones before they judge or hate other brands but it's so hard to explain to many of them and that's why I don't waste my time :)

Haha, let me see fanboys explain *that*.
Same amount of ram as last year (basically losing to its midranger C9 Pro) and basically the same cpu. I'm sure the gpu would be a tiny bit better and that's it.
At the same time the new Samsung gets lower battery (despite the larger screen) and (probably) the same camera.
S8 is an obvious money grab people. I don't even get why people are getting excited. It's as unexciting as S6 was (mostly a downgrade compared to S5). Apparently Samsung got herself into a 2 year program, where she releases a mediocre phone and the *next* is what fixes the situation (s9?). Stay away from this phone...

Exynos version will easily beat snap 835 in geekbench.

seriously thats it? single core at 1929?
God when we ever be able to play games somewhat close to iPhone?
based on the benchmark, looks like SD835 is just very minor upgrade from SD821 / SD820

I realized its all the same and pointless to be a fanboy of anything. Dont confined yourself in one ecoystem if you want to expand your knowledge. It only make you biased and ignorant of other things that exist.

not to anger anyone but this sd835 is not impressive on these two tests when one compares it to exynos 8890 the raw performance improvements are minimal. like i said before Qualcomm needs to drag thier designers to the back of the factory and shoot 'em, bury them deep in the backyard and get new people to make serious improvement on thier next soc cos this is disappointing.

Less and lesser Samsung device being released there every year. Some flagship never even debut in Europe. Their main market is the largest market like China and India. As for them being a cheapskate, it is understandable after the damaged done by Note7 incident.

Still find it ridiculous that Apples A10 single-threaded performance is at least 5-6 years ahead of other processors from Qualcomm, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc., .-.
At least based on Geekbench tests.

So all that hype for a rebranded Kirin 960 lol , the 700 euro don't seem too bad now for the g6 does it ? I don't think people would pay 300 more just for a different chip that ain't that much ahead of the competition even in android world not ios , at least it got a new camera lol haha

AzureLord, 02 Mar 2017I don't think so. the so called Kryo 280 cores have the sam... moreI even go as far and say every high end SoC has cores based on ARM A73. Even Kryo 280 is based on A73, as well as Samsung M2 cores. With Apple it's just that they don't waste the worthy space by making a 4 or 8 core cluster of the same average cores, but they up their sizes (which of course adds to the modding which is done with every custom core, so it isn't like they would just take normal cores and make them bigger) so that they have more transistors which results in more instructions per clock

AnonD-1385, 02 Mar 2017To HOFMANN:
Ever stop to think that iOS is customised gr... moreThat always praised software optimization (especially by apple fans) has not much to do with the performance. Pure Android itself runs actually better on a low end phone than iOS, mostly because iOS has many more learning algorithms, which are simply not there on Android. But apps run better on iOS because of the superior programming language, so the same app on the same device is more fluid under iOS. And if you add the customzable things of android (virus scanner hehe; jokes aside, lock screens, widgets and apps which constantly in the background) it get's as slow if not even slower in daily usage and at making default tasks like switch home screen pages, that's why even the newest galaxy with plenty of background-running apps preinstalled lags at this task.
I'm not fandroid, I use iOS, but I'm not a fanboy of anything except maybe a little bit a fan of OnePlus and Xiaomu because of their pricing politics.
