(for THE CURIOUS ones, it was 7.1.1) and it ran quite well when it came to single core tasks. (roughly 2900 SC and about 5420 MC) and kept the same preformance on multi. I didn't upload any research. just did some tweaking. and then reinstalled iOS because an iPhone SHOULDN'T RUN Android. It was just "what if" thingy.

Single core performance of Qualcomm is very poor. Or we can say that Qualcomm is 2-3 years behind apple in single core.

Its like you saying 20mp f/2.4 camera is better compare to 12mp f/1.7 camera. The one with f/1.7 is obviously better. You are looking at the numbers instead looking at the technology type.

This is a cynical cheapskate manufacturing costs saving antic and that is not acceptable on a phone that costs around or upwards of 1000 Euros. Especially when there will be 6 GB variants in some regions but not others.

I do believe though that the Hurricane cores inside the A10 fusion is based off on A73, while the x2 Zephyr are based on A53. which is pretty much identical to the Pinecone X950 and Kirin 960 if they weren't modded~ this is a mere speculation though. the A73 naturally is an excellent core. so imagine what happens if you mod it? you get Hurricane core with over 3500 SC score in geekbench!

Am I the only one that's really impressed with the OP3T? I mean,forget the price comparison of the phone, the performance coming from it is impressive regardless of the price of the phone.

The Huawei Mate 9 is also available with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and is again cheaper than the S8. Then to cap it off it is being stated in various rumors there will be a 6GB version of the S8 but only in China and\or Korea. Sorry but when paying top prices for a phone I expect to specs. not cheapskate cost cutting exercises.

Ever stop to think that iOS is customised greatly inside out to blend seamlessly with the A10 chip thus producing extremely high speeds? Android is open source so it's not tailored for any particular chipset like iOS is.

The 4gb ram that's going to be in S8 will be LPDDR4X type that reduce voltage to 0.6v. Not to be confused with LPDDR4 which use 1.1v. So, basically the new ram will save 45% energy. Most of the phone in the market with 6gb ram are of the LPDDR3 and LPPDR4 type.
Samsung's LPPDR4X is the latest of the latest ram technology that you can get in the market right now. I would be surprised if you actually opt for the lower class 6gb LPPDR4 ram. Although, rumors said Samsung already manufactured 8gb LPDDR4X ram but no news where they using it. Though I reckon it would be super expensive if they were to use it. Latest hardware never comes cheap.

Well it won't show as impressive as it can be because of the worthless app like GB. Firstly, scoring is rigged (more weight given on HTML/Javascript than Memory etc) for Apple, secondly MT is wonky and does not fully utilize all cores of the SoC. I bet if you compare iPhone 7 on any Android phone with at least SD821, it will not show twice the false performance it showed here. In fact, almost all comparisons out there showed iPhone 7 is slower in comparison except on some cherry-picked games.

Hmmm....
Not much more powerful than the Exynos 8890, quite happy with my S7 Edge Exynos in that case to keep going with it until a truly powerful SoC arrives.

Before 6 months ago, I said about the A10 Fusin chipset that it will be even better than snapdragon 835 or even 850. Apple makes the best chipsets. End of the story. Huawei nice job too
