iPhone 6S is 600 euro and S7 is 530 euro now in The Netherlands. The funny thing is that those two phones are better than the G6 while being cheaper and older. How do I know that without even having used the G6? Because I'm the phone professor.

was thinking of getting this phone not now, not with that kind of price tag too rich for my blood

AnonD-235041, 02 Mar 2017LG really made a beautiful phone this time but sadly screwe... moreRam is far more important to SoC in every day performance. If it had the right SoC it would still be significantly slower than last year's flagships like OnePlus 's and LeEco's, Huawei's and some of this year's (the new Asus, the new Oneplus) .... check phonebuff and C4etech videos. Ram retention is the important metric for every day performance, 4GB simply doesn't do much of it anymore ... it will be a slow phone by comparison almost mid ranger specs for high end prices ... so sad that people still fall for that.

People wake up! In 2017, the minimum storage size any smartphone should have is 64GB and 128GB right after.... OnePlus knows this and they deliver. These manufacturers should get that in mind and funnily enough, Apple has been offering a 64GB variant since 2012! Surprising they havent been offering 512GB Iphones by now lol, but that is them. 700€ for an LG G6 tough, is too overpriced. What i mean is that by now, 256GB flagships shouldnt be a farfetched idea, especially with 4K HDR content soon becoming available and new codecs like h.265 becoming possible with modern SoCs.

I wonder how the discussion about price went on as LG, was it "let's rip off early adopters and the uninformed", or was it a more arrogant "we are as good as others, even better, so let's price accordingly".
It's like they willingly ignore the growing Chinese competition.

Not sure why LG did not make this phones base storage 64GB. It would've made a lot more sense to boost up all the other specs since the phone already has a disadvantage in the chipset. Also with LG's prowess in battery stamina as demonstrated by the LG X power..a bigger 4000+mAh battery would've served this phone well as well as a big selling point. I see missed opportunity...just giving Sammy's Galaxy S8 more advantage.

More or less in line with also flagships...only the new flagships will bring the snapdragon 835 and this still has 821 so price will fall quickly in 3 months or so.

i'll wait and see the competition.
Last year i went for 1+ and this year i'll give it a change, no mater what Sammy slams to the table. One thing is for sure, i hate glass back desing

LG really made a beautiful phone this time but sadly screwed up in the camera and SOC! If only it has flagship specs! Could have easily been the best set yet!

700 is a fair launcheprice. Still a bit high for it's specifications but it's a beautiful phone with a good quality screen.

Not to be trusted.well...not everyone, but the company that listed the phone does....stop taking for granted what that company has to offer, they simply want to be the first and therefore the set the price that high, that is all; there are dozen of complains where people renounce what that company has to offer simply because they simply want to make money and nothing else:

Benny, 02 Mar 2017Not impressed Lg good luck downgraded camera from 16 to 13 ... moreAs far as camera. Can't judge it by megapixels. Way more to it then just that. Check out the new xperia XZ premium compared to last year's XZ for an example. But yeah. Battery sucks for the chipset used and the resolution (hdr). I doubt a 2 and a half hour movie (becoming the avg. Movie length now) will be played and still have battery for another hour or two of mild use.
