note 8 probably just improve spec with S pen.

What happen if S8, iPhone 8, Mi 6, OP5, Mi Mix 2, and so joint in the race? XZP have a chance? Lets see which phone will win "Best Smartphone of 2017", and how many XZP will sell, and G6 also.

Who decides those awards? I can literally choose a random chinese phone and find it better for half the cost.
I mean those bezels are straight from 2000s, the specs are last year's, the camera is probably good, but most cameras are good nowadays , 4k is a gimmick that nobody is going to use because it's impossible to use it in such a small screen, the battery is pathetically low...
Really this company seems to have no direction, this phone is wholly imbalanced and ultimately impractical (bad ergonomy due to the sharp edges and extremely large frame, bad autonomy due to the low battery), who is dishing those awards I wonder.

I have had 2 phones with stereo speakers (One M8 and Nexus 6), not really a thing I'd get a phone specially for.

LG got stopped by Samsung owning the hoarding the Snapdragon 835 but Sony wasn't stopped! Can't wait to have this phone! I own a V20 now. I will surely buy this! Will be back with Sony again! :)

People complain about bezels.
Check out Android Central. There is an article there written by a guy that kept a LG G6 for 3 days.
He says small bezels can be pretty inconvenient..

Funny seeing all the Fanboys crying because their beloved phones will never be a Sony. This year Sony took the crown. The s8 didn't make any noise on entrance. 3-4 days since release and this is the talk of the town. Since this is priced at a bargain I hope Sony redeems itself this year. That said im off to take photos on my Z5.

I agree with this. Although vertical bezels could be smaller and the battery larger. Let's see how it does in real life.

I like Sony, a lot! 1\3 of my phones were Sony, but i do like thin bezels more, esp as smartphones grow, i dont feel comfortable with the extra dimensions, unless it counts for smth, screen estate is the most important thing nowdays and carry a big phone with a relatively small thing is not my thing... In 2017 everybody will have a waterproof flagship with small bezels, except Sony, this is the feature i was hoping they would improve the most, how disappointing...
