I see that some people here are talking about future phones,sure Iphone 11 or galaxy S 15 are better than Xperia XZ,but we are not talking about smartphones coming in the future,we are talking about smartphones which are up for grabs

It was totally deserved. Like come on, an 835 CPU, 4K HDR display, IP68 water and dust resistance, front facing speakers with what we hope is a great headphone jack and the worlds highest slow-motion capture speeds on a smartphone camera. If this phone didnt win the award, the LG G6 probably would but it wouldnt be fair in my opinion. That and the fact that it is made of Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and rear is reassuring in a way.

Well innovation is something new, means something nobody else used. Sony got it on three fronts. Display, cpu and camera. This means best innovations. Frankly speaking i like Lg G6 and XZP but making camera the same in pixels isnt really innovation. Sony outdid themselves and competition. Extensive research which Lcd display is better, 12 bit hdr dolby vision or Lcd 10 bit probably bravia triluminos display. Gonna have to wait and see. Certainly LGG6 will be much cheaper.

I'm so happy for our beloved SONY wins the best smartphone award at MWC 2017. SONY never and ever copied any other brand in their entire mobile history till now they are creative,unique and always giving high quality phones with optimised os keeping it with updates. So CONGRATS you deserve the best SONY because you're always like.no.other
