Games like Zelda, Uncharted, Battlefield, Overwatch takes lots of time and lots of money to be published and developed, that is why they can put it on that price. Dont compare console/PC games with mobiles, because they are complete different. Im guessing you dont have any creative background thus making you think that "games should be cheap" and just pirate away and give the excuses that "i dont have 50$". Just stick to mobile gaming then, stay away from PC/Console games, since "freemium" is you thing.

AnonD-39937, 07 Mar 2017If games cost so much it's clearly why people don't buy the... moreIf you seriously think gaming is targeted at millionares you are sorely mistaken, Gaming as a medium is super inclusive and diverse and offers different things for different people, People who buy/play mobile or freemium games are a different audience to the ones who choose to spend their money on big budget games like Zelda or Horizon zero dawn, These games offer huge, expansive, immersive worlds which people can connect with on a more personal and emotional level than just watching a movie or tv show, trying to say games are too expensive is like saying that someone spending money on boxsets is dumb and should just download all the stuff they watch for free, Which would damage the industry and drive costs up more because the developers need to recoup the loss from all the pirated copies, I think you need to go and re evaluate your opinions about the subject before coming in here and spouting nonsense.

I agree that games should be reasonably priced, but we must also remember that there is a cost to making good games.

Calling pc and console games expensive is funny when people spend more than what a PS4 Pro costs on these chance based games that have no guarantee of giving top tier or decent units/items.
And do you have proof that millionaires don't spend on games? Ever heard of those people called Whales?

The re... moreIf games cost so much it's clearly why people don't buy them...if the games were 1-2$ people would have bought them(90% of people wouldn't have pirated them if they were so cheap)and the developers would have won even more money,win-win situation...because the people which bought PSP or PS Vita didn't have 200$ for the games, in fact most didn't have much money in general...I think that any games which costs more than 5$ is a robbery(and all of them are)...they(console manufacturer, game developers, stores) all want money, but they don't think that we aren't all millionaires...and btw millionaires don't buy video games, they have better things to do with all these money...so the gaming industry is wicked
