I ordered P9 Lite (2017) online, received box with label P8 lite (2017). I was like, dafuq, wrong model!!

The A5 of any generation is really different from the corresponding A3 or A7, except that the design is pretty much the same. Now, Huawei just said: ''Hey! Let's just put some cool names on the same phone and see which is the most popular!''

I think they are naming it what ever the best selling lite was in the country. So when people search for the former they'll find this one too. Also Turkey has huge taxes for smartphones.

They are playing a game Samsung stopped a while ago. They did it with the Galaxy Avant (either called Galaxy Core LTE , Galaxy Core 4G, Galaxy Core LTE G386W, Galaxy Grand....) but now it's more like the same design with actual differences like the screen, cameras and the chipset (A series)
